His guilt at the end of the day is walking into Nevada casinos with SWC ads operating a site with no license, what happens is really beyond his control at this point. He is a pawn to the system at this point. If I were betting, I am saying its a year at an honor ranch or house arrest and a fine, and public NV apology and abstinence from gambling while in NV for a period of time.

Agreed. I think he gets some detention, but mild, everyone wins in that scenario and it goes away. State gets some form of jail, Micon gets away from a prison climate he obviously fears.
I would guess wealth preservation comes into play, i.e. make a deal to stop legal costs from spiraling.

I do not think that Micon has an open ended relationship with Chesnoff & Schonfeld. I am speculating that Micon asked Chesnoff to review his case and his options and to try to negotiate a plea. It appears the results have not been especially compelling for the Chairman. The scope of Micon's relationship with his firm was fixed.
My hunch is that Micon has logged off from Chesnoff & Schonfeld. He probably feels he doesn't HAVE to do anything for now. He will wait for the turn card, survey the table and then react.

So while Micon may seem fit to just wait and react, unexpectedly I think the catalyst for the next move will be domestic. I also don't think Chesnoff takes cheap consultation cases (beyond maybe a first phone call). I believe they require you lay down a hefty retainer and then that's the minimum you've bought with them.
They are probably negotiating on his behalf, though it's possible that things have stalled if the Nevada AG refuses to negotiate while Micon is hiding out.
