Jesus JV...go to user cp, look to your right, you will see options you can click on written in gibberish, the third or fourth bracket of options the last option at the bottom is the one where you can select language. Just click on it and SCROLL DOWN at the very bottom you will see "Arabic" click this, switch to fucking english. If you clicked on something and at the bottom you do NOT see "Arabic" go back, click the next option up or down. This never took me longer than 10 minutes to solve on my own, and I'm not a computer whiz...

This is true, also I found a cool trick to improve short term retention and recall capability- train your memory to stop discarding things, find more of what you see relevant. I'll make a thread about it, though it's not huge and exciting news. Nevermind, not thread worthy.Nah. All you need is a photographic memory like your spurned disciple/self-annointed distiller of your wisdom, mr 408.
To do it while driving or in motion glance at something out of the side of your field of vision and name it mentally, then verbally (aloud) and look straight, dart back to the object, and again and again as many times as you can. I like to focus on bicyclists, because the trick has two parts.
NOW once the object has left you field of vision try as HARD as you can to re-see the image in your mind, and keep saying silently and aloud (trade off) what the object was, describe it as best you can, and keep trying to keep that image in your mind as long as possible with your eyes shut preferably, although it's super good to be able to do this mentally with your eyes open and be able to still see the image mentally (I can do this)

As you come up on the man say to yourself "A man riding a bicycle wearing a blue jacket, shorts, white and blue athletic shoes, he has a fanny pack and blue gloves" once, then allow your eyes to dart forward and then to the man, forward and then to the man etc. until he passes from your field of vision, then close your eyes (or keep open if driving) and re-see the image and keep describing it as best you can. Details like the color of his gloves are CRUCIAL.
Do this 3 times a day and I swear on everything within DAYS your memory will get super good and become very photographic, it's a distinct improvement for most people.
nerd tip- cortisol/stress have a profound impact on long term memory creation and recall, I used to put a thumb tack in my shoe and step on it whenever I read something I HAD to know. Worked like a charm!
