However, I do have to admit I am a bit perplexed about your obsession with China. It seems like you have a lot of criticism and desire to discuss the stake he's running, and I never quite understood that. I would totally understand it if the situation was shady or if China had a spotty past, but neither is the case.

China's stake is straightforward. If you don't think he's good enough to be worth it, don't invest. He has been up front about everything, and I think people pretty much know what they're getting when they invest in him. I never understood the whole reasoning behind trying to start a debate with him about the whole matter. It's not like he's trying to cheat people, and he's not misrepresenting himself.

Regarding the "whining", I can tell you that it's actually therapeutic for some people to get it off their chest when they're running bad. I do plenty of whining myself when I'm unlucky, though usually not on these forums. (I don't think China would be doing so on the forums, either, if he wasn't being staked.) I can also tell you that China has ran REALLY REALLY BAD on Merge for the past several months. I see him take so many beats and coolers to the point where I think he's had the worst luck of any regular limit players on the site in 2012. Just yesterday we had a lovely hand where it was capped 4 ways, I had QQ, China had 55, some other guy had 99, and the flop came 953. I see this (or bad beats) happening to him repeatedly.

Anyway, I'm not sure why you have it in for China, but I can tell you that he's only being rude with you because of the recent trolling you've done to him.

4 of the deletions were due to pictures of jsearles that were posted without his permission. The rule here regarding posting pictures of users is that you can only do so if they've either already posted their own pics, or if their pictures were made public by some sort of mainstream media, such as appearing on TV or in poker news reports. Also, you may only do the latter if that person has made their name public. If the person was just stupid and left their pictures unprotected on the internet, you can't post them here.

Also, you may never post anyone's picture if it contains family members, unless that person has given permission to do so.

I deleted the last post because it contained an obscene picture. I want people to feel safe to browse this site from work or around mixed company. I don't mind seeing some tasteful shots of nude women in The Bathroom Wall forum, but I really don't want pictures of cocks or porn-type shots anywhere on this site.

Some people on these forums are private, and I want to respect that. If someone doesn't want their picture posted, and they haven't already posted it themselves, I want to respect their wishes, even if the person acts like an asshole sometimes.

The only exception to this (aside from the ones already mentioned) is if the person is a known scammer. I'm not talking about accusations like, "Hey, didn't this guy roll someone for $50 on another forum in 2007?" I'm talking about someone who is clearly a danger to have around in a community like this, and should be outed completely in order to protect everyone from getting cheated.
