I know you don't want to ban users from here as it's dead as shit but you really do gotta start banning people if respected posters are leaving and no longer posting. The site will eventually die a slow death like DD.
Might be worth a shot to have a policy in place whereby posters who admit to being bipolar or the like get instabanned. I'm just riffing here but that kind of crazy can be a bit dangerous, especially when that kind of crazy gets to run wild on a forum that enjoys confrontation, public meltdowns and culling the weak. Hate to say it but it doesn't seem completely implausible that one of the crazies could get really butthurt while he's off of his meds and when he can't find pooh or muck ficon (or whoever hurt his crazy feelings) he goes after one of the more public members (e.g., like sixtoedpete only violent). Just seems like playing with fire to let clincally insane people run around in this environment (albeit it can be super funny times). Plus emotional spazzing is annoying to read.

"I run everything here, the control board" ROFL You aren't even using a mixer, you turn your mic on and start broadcasting and take a call from skype. It's not rocket science and you do a good job, but stop acting like you're running a professional studio mixing board producing the show on the fly rofl.

You almost never have anything prepared, you talk about the agenda topics while giving the agenda, YOu should have all relevant tabs open to shit you're going to talk about that way you can just tab over and read up. Is this so hard?

I've never talked about a control board.
Besides, the radio show is not part of vBulletin, and putting up the entire system that broadcasts/archives the show was non-trivial. It wasn't a remarkable feat of software engineering, but it had a lot of parts and custom modifications to do it. It has a streaming broadcast server, a system which auto-archives all broadcasts, an RSS feed for third party archives, a call-to-listen line, streaming random reruns, a chat room, a poker room, a flashing ON-AIR graphic which auto-appears and disappears depending upon whether there is live broadcasting, etc. Much of this is not out-of-the-box functionality where anyone can just install it and it all integrates with vBulletin.
Same thing with this forum. I have made a number of modifications to the software here -- some easy, some not-so-easy, some easy to implement through existing functionality, and some which require building and integrating from scratch.
When I talk on the radio show how I'm running everything myself, I am speaking from an attention/effort standpoint. I have a lot to do at once here. Radio hosts on professional shows just talk, and everything is taken care of for them. That's not how it works here, so I remind the listener of that in case I appear distracted at times.
When Marty wanted to run a radio show, he was incapable of building something equivalent to what I have going here, which is why he used lol blogtalkradio from his iPhone.
I have also fixed various bugs within vBulletin which have been pointed out here.
This is a full-featured site and pretty much everything people ask for gets added.
I'm not going to go brag about all of this to serious programmers, because I haven't done anything special or incredibly difficult, but for a Wordpress monkey like Pockles to be mocking me for this is hilarious.

Wrench gave me the bag for a week when I first started posting because I picked fights with felon and hillbillyjim (and I lost...badly). Note to newbies...never pick a fight with either of those guys, especially felon (make sure to ask tyde how picking a fight with felon goes).I never got the bag. I did go through quite a list though. Superdonkey, emo fag (no hard feelings wrench, lolz), and super beggar to name a few.

I have to learn enough about all the topics I talk about to where I don't sound like a babbling idiot when attempting to discuss them.
I have to decide which topics to have each week, and which ones to ignore.
I have to get the entire setup ready every week, which I dismantle every time because that room is needed for other things (it's not just a headset anymore).
I have to post the show description to the archives (it records itself, but obviously I have to manually post it), when I'm already exhausted from talking for up to 9 hours straight.
But most importantly, I make sure to be here almost every week and do a long show for zero pay. You'd be surprised how burdensome that can something become to your life. I skip a few weeks here and there, but for the most part, I am reliably broadcasting every week, and make sure to build the rest of my life around it.
I'm not going to say that this is a full time job, because it's not. But it's also way more effort than just turning on the mic and talking for a few hours.
