If you go out of your way to meet people you have exclusively met on the Internet, you have to deal with the results, especially on a degen gambling site. I am sure some people have met some good people and became friends. Others have had horrific experiences. You get what you get. If you meet three great posters and one freak, that is simply the way it goes and deal with the consequences. If you do not like that, never go out of your way to visit people you meet on any forum, especially people with mug shots in harness vests.

Years ago I was part of a stock forum and gave out my name/number to a few folks. When the market tanked I had one psychopath calling me for money to help fill his shitty ass margin call. When I refused he began harassing me and calling me for an entire weekend. Luckily it was my home line I never used, so I simply unplugged it for a week and he eventually quit when my voicemail filled up, but it was unsettling. I was in my early 20s at the time, but never again.
