    My Thoughts on the Recent Anti Gay Wedding Cake Movement

    I think a business should 'reserve the right to refuse service to 'anyone' ...

    that includes militant gay rights activists if they see fit.

    If I am a business owner I have the right to do whatever I want. This is a non issue......

    this is about commerce, not making political statements about homosexuality.

    If a gay couple is going to a bakery where they get denied for being gay...then move on to the next bakery.

    This is my only issue with the gay rights movement.

    No you aren't a 'minority' ...you chose your lifestyle.....some people object to it...and they are perfectly entitled to reject your business.

    all this politically correct bullshit is really annoying.

    especially this particular recent outrage over bakery owners with conservative views denying service to 'in your face' gay couples wanting wedding cakes.

    I blame the overtly outspoken gay couples in these recent cases just looking to make it a big issue....

    you want a fucking birthday cake with a dick or a vagina ?

    find a gay friendly bakery and move on..

    with that said....I do support gay rights. but this is getting ridiculous

    I've been watching some movies from the 80's and late 90's lately and wow....so politically incorrect its not even funny....nobody was complaining.....the big hit movies made some VERY offensive statements....somehow audiences found it to be funny and flocked to box offices....symptomatic of our current devolving society on multiple levels.

    total joke

    now all these decades later....we have to coddle to every group or cause with a bug up their ass. what a damn shame.

    this goes way past the stupid bakery with gay couples 'crisis'....

    The 'political correctness' issue reaches on a global level a lot deeper than stupid ass gay birthday cakes.

    I have no objections to people being gay....I got it. I accept it.

    But the entire domestic gay movement is basically ISIS now when it comes to enforcing their personal rights.

    So hard to define where your rights end and another's begins. I do understand the pharmacist who doesn't want to give out plan b. Someone else who doesn't have an issue can do. Hard to say if this is an extension of these beliefs. I personally have a 3 tube rule. if you require 3 or more tubes in you to survive I don't want to care for you. Someone else who believes in life at all cost can. If a business owner thinks supplying a cake to a gay couple violates their belief I guess they have that right.

    Without getting into the political and personal emotions of the whole thing I look at this issue this way...America is "supposed" to be the "land of the free."

    I see two different groups at odds with one another obviously, but one group is trying to force the other to do something...that sounds un-"American."

    If you get down to the grass roots of what freedom is, then it is your choice to make your own decisions.

    The gay community is trying to force other people to bend to their will.

    Nobody is forcing the gay community to go to businesses that accept them.

    Gays are trying to force businesses to accept them.

    The businesses aren't forcing gays to take their business. Gays are trying to force the businesses.

    It's really as simple as that if you support freedom and the "american" way.

    It's not like it's the only place in town that can serve their needs.

    It's very cut and dry. Gays are trying to force somebody to accept them.

    I'm completely OK with gay marriage and have a gay uncle that I love very much and I enjoy his partner's company.

    There is no hatred here. It's just very simple. Gays are trying to force other people to accept something where they aren't being forced to go.

    I could understand the hatred if we lived in socialist society where there was only one person in town allowed to make a cake and that person said no.
