Interesting. I was talking about this on radio last night, not knowing Mason had actually filed for a garnishment.

I didn't know Mason could file a garnishment writ when there was nothing to garnish yet, but perhaps he did it quickly when he saw Dutch was in the money, and knew 100% Dutch would get paid something.

Interestingly, this would be a way to get yourself in the front of the line if a poker pro owes you money. Sue them, get a judgment, and then file a garnishment writ when they get deep in a tourney. You will get paid even ahead of their backer!

I am eager to see what happens here.
