I believe Joe already answered the question about the $400k expenditure, but I think a lot of people missed it. The conference wasn't free, people had to pay to attend; he also said they sold advertising. So I don't really see this as 22Q using funds for the conference, they spent the funds and then recouped a lot if not all at the conference and in its aftermath.
