The more I read, it's kind of shocking that they didn't arrive at this juncture much sooner. Given Dikshit paid out $300 million to be rid of smaller issues, and the DOJ fines are calculated arbitrarily without precedent with so few of this type case, that I imagine the DOJ could have simply shipped a $600 million fine offer to Isai's lawyers to make it all go away, and he likely would have took it straight up, getting nothing in return.
Instead, they simply call it the player balances + over $400 million in fines, and the players get paid back, and the DOJ can call it a win, and avoid a bunch of nonsense regarding how to charge and extradite a guy whom I'm sure is very powerful in Israel, which is a political clusterfuck of an issue between two friendly allies. This way, he can travel anywhere he wants, his company by proxy will likely make their money back by licensing shit to the US, and everyone is happy. On the surface, I don't even know who the winner is, both I think. In a way, they made him pay premium for a less than premium company, but on the other hand, it's kind of a sweetheart deal as it will take any pressure off him, and he'll make it back one way or the other eventually, and though he may have never wanted to leave Israel anyways, his heirs won't have to sweat asset grabs, etc. for the rest of their lives.

And he has helped tremendously working with Pokerstars to lower rake in the limit games and I believe (not 100 %) he has a title on 2+2 with a pokerstars logo
I am not saying he directly leaked the info and I haven't even read the story on pokerfuse. But reports are pokerfuse broke the story
Edit: just read the story on pokerfuse and he did write it. Still doesn't mean he leaked the info as he has credited other sources for the details of his report

Sabbotaged my ass.. Only people responsible for GBT failing to buy FTP is GBT,.. Truth is this fucking idiots had no idea what they were getting themselves into. Just glad the most viable option out there is going to try an dmake it right.. It does however create the high likelyhood of a near monopoly in the online poker world but lets be honest Pre BF FTP and PS numbers represented a huge pct of the online poker business anyway.. The reality is PS and FTP though will have to be content with the Euro/Asian market as no sign of them being allowed back into the US to joint he party again anytime soon after online poker is legalized (again thank god for Dual citizenship I will eventually get back on PS legally through a 2nd home and well some well placed electronic maneuvering such as logmein or flat out using a VPS) with legit Canadian passport, Address and what not and playing through Canadian locations be it my home or VPS theres nothing PS can do to bitch about me playing once I get it all taken care off
