The teachings of Jesus are gold. They changed the world. Constantine converted the Roman Empire to Christianity because he understood human beings are garbage. They rape, pillage, plunder, murder at will. He wanted the people taught a better way, to love their neighbor, love their enemy, turn the other cheek, don't cast stones.

It worked to a great extent. The violence was tamped down. but not entirely and never will. Because....we are still human beings with all those bad qualities still lurking within us.
