for anyone interested, this is a very good article emphasizing many of the points i was making about what a fraud this (and likely other) so called investments in bringing foreign companies here at tremendous cost all for "american jobs" which then go back to the company's nation --- illegally at that as those people weren't supposed to be here.

Interesting. As usual, issues like these are far more complex than the sound bytes you hear/see from the left and right on X and in the media.

I'm not sure what triggered the ICE raid, but given this new information, these workers are far less sympathetic. Indeed, selling this factory as an upcoming major employer of area residents, in order to drum up support, and then sneaking illegals in to actually take the jobs, is a bunch of bullshit. I have no sympathy for the company or the illegals when this falls apart and ICE ships everyone back.
