Since I am 6'2" myself, girls being tall doesn't bother me. I would probably feel differently if I were short or average height. Last I checked, 0.02% of women in the US were my height or taller.
Height on women has been a non-factor to me for the most part, except if they're under 5', to where it's just too short compared to me and feels weird.
Ticket Sales fell off a cliff this weekend for Miss White. Worldwide through Sunday its at $143,114,583. Given the budget, this is a total disaster. Really this movie was doomed from the start, and that obnoxious actress sealed its fate.
It just lost to a middling budget action film called "A Working Man", 15m to 14.2m.
That puts Snow White around 57m for the first 2 weeks. It's cooked. I don't see it breaking even.
Total fail.

Hollywood is very sensitive to bombed movies. Even though Pacino came off big movies in the 70s, obviously, when he made Revolution in the mid 80s, by today's dollars it lost well over $100M and panned by the critics. I saw it a few years ago to see just how bad it was, yeah it was that awful. Anyway, Pacino was sidelined for three years almost as a punishment, and this was at a time Pacino has squandered his money so he really had a tough stretch. I wonder if this actress will get the same treatment.

Couldn’t have happened to a better company. Sold my Disney stock at a loss last year, definitely held it too long, that’s on me but it helped with other gains when I did my taxes.
Note they are offering big discounts on theme part tickets this summer here in Florida, something they usually don’t do. May be a sign of softening demand on that front too as I know multiple local families here who dropped their annual passes for multiple reasons.
Overall it a lesson on how not to operate a company from a social issues standpoint. Walt would be ashamed of what Disney has become.

Despite what others have said, the break even point of this movie is not less than 600 million and very likely could be north of 700 million. I don't see this making that back in streaming rights and digital rentals.
Rachel Zegler seriously wounded her own Snow White film, but it was Jack Black who took the movie outside and put it out of its misery.
Prior to April 4, Snow White at least had one thing going for it. It was the only major movie in theaters aimed at kids.
However, then came "A Minecraft Movie" -- an imperfect film with weird casting choices, but also highly enjoyed by its target audience of kids and teenagers. It also features good special effects, a lot of recognizable references and connections to the game itself, and lots of memes and easter eggs for the kids to get further amusement. It enjoyed excellent word-of-mouth among kids, and blew out to the biggest opening weekend of 2025 of any move -- $163 million. This was far greater than expectation, and the movie is expected to go down as a huge hit by the time it's out of theaters.
This put a stake in the weak-beating heart of "Snow White", as now parents will be taking their kids to see Minecraft, rather than Snow White.
I actually saw "A Minecraft Movie" with Benjamin, who really enjoyed it and remarked that he can't wait for the sequel, which he surmised is now likely due to the film's success.
Snow White also has been dropped from over 1200 venues already.
Vaughn also turned out to be correct -- or mostly correct -- about Snow White's cost. The $270m number turned out NOT to include marketing, so it is not likely to come anywhere near breaking even, regardless of digital downloads or whatever else makes it money on the back end.
"A Minecraft Movie" found the correct formula for films aimed at kids. Keep the politics and social messaging out, pick a theme they will enjoy, and provide lots of little references that the kids will notice, especially if they're online a lot. Interestingly, a lot of kids have remarked that they enjoyed a quick easter egg honoring a Minecraft YouTuber who died in his 20s. They had their finger on the pulse of what kids wanted to see, while Snow White was too busy virtue signaling and pandering to Disney's loud left wing employees.
Warner Bros ate Disney's lunch here, and Disney won't forget it.
Keep in mind that "A Minecraft Movie" never even entered the conversation regarding knocking off Snow White. So far it's the unexpected hit of 2025, whereas Snow White was an embarrassing flop.

Gratuitously changing the race of major characters in remakes is so stupid.
It's not like a different version of the story is written, where a racial change is important. (For example, it made sense for the play "The Wiz" to feature black stars, even though the characters weren't black in The Wizard of Oz.)
In this case, and also in the case of "The Little Mermaid", they're just changing the main character's race for the sake of wokeness.
And it's so stupid, because it's not 1965 anymore. There's no shortage of opportunities for actors of color nowadays, nor is there a lack of depiction of people of color in television and film. So why do this?
This is what happens when studio executives cede too much control to the left-wing creative types.

Desertrunner's post is a bit confusing, but if you click on the link in his post, you'll understand.
Disney was going to remake "Rapunzel", and again change the main character from a white blonde girl to some kind of minority. After Snow White bombed, partially due to the Jew-hating remarks of star Rachel Zegler, and partially due to changing a character whose main physical feature was being white into a minority, Disney gave up on the remake.
Now they've decided to make Rapunzel after all, and rumor has it that they're going to keep Rapunzel as a white blond in this live-action film.
