This is why it was a mistake to elevate people like Matt Gaetz and MTG. Eventually their own craziness/selfishness/ambition backfires on the party.

The left is finally learning that involving "the squad", which has already been culled somewhat via primaries.

she has the courage of her conviction. something you should be proud to see nowadays beyond party over everything.

the dems wouldn't be infighting over their president's nomination. see what the rhinos did to the immoral pos congressman in ny, thereby narrowing even further their control. dems meanwhile let gold bar senator from nj keep his seat.

It is somewhat hilarious, the Dems got behind this 'guy' 100% who had a pattern of stealing luggage off airport conveyor belts. No issue there.

A hacker got some of the sealed testimony

" Files containing statements from witnesses who gave damaging testimony against former Rep. Matt Gaetz, President-elect Donald Trump's pick for attorney general, were hacked on Monday, attorneys say.

The hacked files include an unredacted deposition of a woman who reportedly claimed to have had sex with Gaetz when she was 17"

The GOP needs to think long term. If you leave cancers with influence in the party, eventually it will come back to bite you. Think about how different things could be for Democrats right now if they didn't let the wokes essentially take over the messaging of the party. This occurred because the original Obama model -- building a coalition of differing groups to oppose the GOP -- called for a perpetual victim class which required endless advocacy to fix perceived wrongs against them.

On the GOP side, there are loud, obnoxious, and sometimes unreasonable figures who have been elevated into positions of influence. Having a disruptor like Trump at the top can be useful to make true change occur, but loose cannons in Congress and elsewhere will just cause a headache down the line.

If the goal here really is for Trump to thank Gaetz for his loyalty by giving him a way to resign in dignity, then they should just let that happen. He'll fail to get confirmed, Trump will nominate someone less controversial, and Gaetz can hold his head up high and insist that he resigned because he really thought they'd confirm him. There shouldn't be a serious battle in order to force him through.

Oh, and a recent report says the following, according to an attorney representing two of the women involved:

    - Two women say that Gaetz paid them for sex at one of Joel Greenberg's parties. Both were over 18.

    - One of the women, who was 19 at the time, saw her 17-year-old friend have sex with Gaetz. The then-17-year-old has not confirmed this, and is not represented by this attorney.

    - The woman asserts that Gaetz did not know her friend was 17. When he learned it later, he cut off contact, and resumed it when she turned 18.

    - Gaetz paid for both to travel with him once the younger girl was 18, and again they both had sex with him. However, while he paid for their travel, he did not pay for the sex that time. If true, there was nothing illegal about this trip.

I think I believe all of this.

Therefore, it isn't fair to call Gaetz a pedo, as he actually ceased contact with the 17-year-old once he learned her age. However, all of the above behavior is not befitting of a Congressman, and definitely not of the US Attorney General. I also don't believe criminal charges are warranted here, even though Gaetz technically broke the law.

Again, when Druff believes something he's entirely wrong on the subject.

Druff, you hate Gaetz because he is not genocidal zionist enough for you. You may be wrong about that because uber-zionist Charlie Kirk supports him and calls out the BS attempts to discredit him which you repeat.

i would argue the cancers are the ones within the president's party who are standing in the way of his nominations.

whether the rhinos like it or not, trump is the reason they now have control of all 3 branches of the govt. without him, they are hereinafter permanent minorities -- which is the ultimate result anyway, so they should make the most of the next few years.

Amazing we are seriously talking about the United States Attorney General where that he does a lot of drugs is a given and he only accidentally fucks 17 year olds on these drug binges is his defense.

I mean I always assumed I could never be president and I now feel like a Boy Scout in today’s no standards world. I mean I only fucked 17 and 18 year olds when I was 17 and 18.

This is the guy to clean shit up. The Christian Party lol at all this trash

Imagine being some dude sitting in jail on some long drug sentence for weed when the Attorney general is smoking crack and fucking teenagers.
