This is exactly what I was thinking because the Templar acted like him and Jasep were really close then Jasep completely turned on him when shit went down. We were all wondering why the Templar would scam on such a small level, but maybe that was just the setup scam. I didnt want to be the 1st to bring it up but it is going through my mind.

When the Templar was in the hospital Jasep was the 1st to talk to him and tell us he had a stroke.

You swore off gambling but just a few weeks ago "in the Caymans" you claimed you won something like $13K and then lost it all back again the next day.

So we are looking at well over $2000, and maybe even up to $3000 in poker room money. This money is still unaccounted for, and the final amount in question. I'm asking that if you are a part of this community, and had money in the poker room for the event, did you donate your money to the foundation at the end? If you didn't, were you paid the money you were owed from the room?

As china indicated earlier, my wife and I are the only 2 people with direct ties to the board and the foundation that live in New England. The majority of the board resided in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, but there are board members in Canada, Florida, and other states. John never gave me a check. My understanding was that he was mailing a check to the foundation, but china's information is very different.

All I am asking of John right now is that he come clean about this. He needs to make his BAP and 22q right. Only then can we move on.

I do appreciate the outpouring of support from the community on this issue as well. I'd also like to ask that if there is a "make 22q right" fund, that china or duff be in charge of that since as suggested earlier, they are two of the most trustworthy people on the board.

Thank you again to all for exposing this and supporting this. As I have more information, I will post it here.

Whos idea was this whole charity thing anyways? If it was Johnny you can bet that he did it for money. This was his scam before the bap scam. He took the money and if he ran it up he payed it and if he lost it he obviously didnt pay it.

I also knew that because it was Friday nothing could even be done until Monday at the earliest... I called Foxwoods and booked a room.

I went to the bank and withdrew 5k, I then went to the other branch down the street and withdrew another 5k...

I went to Foxwoods and long story short... I won 15k, mostly playing 10/25 NLHE and some 500 a hand paigow.

Monday morning I went to the bank, made a 10k deposit and asked to speak to the branch manager. I told him about the wire, they had no idea what to do, they couldn't figure out where it came from or anything....

They gave me some pens and a gym bag with speakers in it as appreciation...

The money stayed in my account for a while before they retrieved it... but I didn't touch it at all after that

Pretty much the same as you're suggesting, maybe he tried to gamble with the 22Q money and it didn't work out as good as the phantom deposit money

I was looking around and found Jasep owned a site called "Feast or Famine RI." Seems pretty appropriate.

It looks like that was website for 3 restaurants that Jasep was referencing. It looks like they all went out of business. It says in a review all the places were owned by one family. One of the main complaints in the reviews was that the management was never around and the places went down hill. Maybe they let Jasep manage them and he spent more time in the Casino or bed than at the restaurants.

I read the whole Drexel poor me thing where all he cares about is getting everyone else their money back. It's just hard for me to believe hes so distraught over this shit but has a girl fly out by him and then never pick her up and tell the story like its a joke. Drexel is far from a saint that only cares about the community. He knew Jasep needed stake money to have any chance of recovering the money he was owed. Did Drexel post in the bap thread that he confirmed the pieces he bought? I dont think he did because he didnt want his name on the shit because he knew the shit was not on the up n up. I could be wrong about the last part someone can correct me if thats the case.

I've spoken with him about the restaurants a while back when we were talking about food. He said they got vilified by a newspaper/local tv after they had rats or cockroaches (can't remeber which) and they had to close them down after that
