Druff, your whole explanation of how the voting points work was completely wrong on radio.
Each HOF member gets 10 voting points that they can distribute between the nominees as they see fit. It could be all 10 for a single person or split across a number of nominees.
There are 31 living HOF members. One of those didn't vote. The total number of votes cast was 300. 300/30=10.
Your Daniel theory is, therefore, bollocks.
He has already told the story of an unnamed HOFer who owes Ferguson money. He, apparently promised he would give Ferguson his entire 10 votes as a gesture of good will. What he didn't realise was that they would be publishing the numbers this year and it was clear that he didn't actually give him 10 votes...
