Exactly two years ago today, my house could have burned down.

Not because of riots, but because of the Los Angeles wildfires which began on November 8, 2018. I quickly scooped up Benjamin from school, zoomed over to the house, crammed the most important things into the car, and left the area.

While I was doing this, my main thought was, "I really, really, really hope I don't come back to rubble here."

Was it because I was uninsured? No. I had good insurance, and in fact would have likely gained financially from it, and could have replaced this 20-year-old house with a brand new one.

But I also could only grab a small fraction of all my stuff, and knew I'd be losing the rest if it burnt down. Everything would be gone, and money wouldn't replace that. I can't stress enough the amount of stress and dread I had regarding coming back to a property burnt to the ground. Fortunately it didn't happen.

This is why, "BUT THEY GOTZ INSURANCE" is such a callous and retarded answer regarding the riots, and shows you how clueless the left really is. Nobody wants their home or business destroyed. It's not just about being able to afford to rebuild. That's something you say if you have no fucking clue what it means to rebuild from a fire or massive vandalism. You say that if you're a woke asshole who wants to make excuses for piece of shit criminals who destroy other people's shit for fun, or to send stupid political messages.

If I saw someone trying to set fire to my place, I would shoot them dead without a second thought. I would do so even if I could easily escape without harm to me or my family. Same thing if I saw them attempting to set fire to my business. If you attempt to destroy other people's things, and put them in danger at the same time, you get what's coming to you. Wouldn't fee an ounce of guilt. Fuck them.
