The last Time I checked police were supposed to investigate assaults too, especially one where a hate crime is alleged.
We need more public shaming by judges. It’s always considered cruel and unusual, but this dude at minimum should have been forced to issue a public statement that says I’m a traitor to the cause of gay rights and victims rights. That every actual victim of hate and violence now faces a higher bar and will be faced with skepticism because of my actions. I’ve caused more harm to my cause than any MAGA-hat wearing boogeyman ever could. It’s a fucking shame he can deny the obvious truth and walk.
