What happened with the whole hat fiasco? Did Micon really use user donations that were earmarked to better the site to buy hats to then sell back to the same users? That strikes me as so ridiculous that I have a hard time believing even Micon would do that.

No, he used the donations to play slots.

I thought he used his wife's $ for that. Then again, he would probably push his own mother into traffic for a $5 free slot play ticket.
