Listen up guys. For what it is worth. I live in Alabama, and have come to know Wolf very well through poker over the past 15 years. I know very little of the radio show or this forum, but I have heard his "Slim T" impersonations. They are hilarious. Here are a few things I can say about Wolf...I would say them to his face if he were sitting with at a table, and they are all 100% true:
1. They guy is definitely weird, eccentric, etc...
2. He is an intellectual and poker savant.
3. He is an incredibly trustworthy, loyal, and good-natured person. He is also incredibly idealistic. The combination of these qualities often leads him to quickly trust random people and hold them to unrealistic standards. This usually leads to dissapointment.
4. His tends to dress in what most people would consider to be a bizarre manner. If you don't know him, you very well could think he was some version of a crack-head. He most certainly is not.
5. He is a "pot-head", but is not a drug addict by any other definition of the word. He doesn't even drink. I have known him to take pain killers from time to time, but have never witnessed him taking more than one in a day.
6. He is a huge advocate for the game of poker. I know from talking to him that he truly wants the best for the game, the radio show(I have never heard it), and this website.
7. He definitely thought this Drexel dude was getting him 100/1 action on the tournament in question. I know because I was taking $200 on his side of it. I would have taken him at 50/1.
8. He definitely was under the impression that Drexel was going to get the "tabs" for him. He told me while he was out there that this was the case, and that he had given him $100 for them.

I have read every single post in this thread, and have to say it is the most bizarre and disturbing thread I have ever encountered on an internet forum that people take seriously. If I were a random person who did not know Wolf, then I would likely think he was either mentally ill or an epic troll. However, I absolutely know better. I can't say that I can relate to why he is so emotionally invested in the situation, but his version of this story is legitimate. I suspect that he was naive to assume that some random dude on the radio was going to embrace him in Vegas regardless of what was said, and that his presentation upon meeting Drexel was completely "hit or miss". Regardless, Wolf is a person of oustanding character; albeit grossly misunderstood. He is also one of the most interesting people I have ever met in or out of poker. He definitely has a flair for drama, but he is literally as honest as they come.

Does he have cancer or did he make that part up?

He mentioned it to me one time, but did not offer details. I am incredibly disturbed by the subject, but am not one to pry for personal information. If he wanted/wants to tell me more, then he will.

Even you have to entertain the notion that Drexel might have been a little too busy to run errands for slim T given its WSOP, and given Drexel has repeatedly made it clear he's seeing a new woman.

If Slim wanted someone from vegas with too much time on his hands and keen to earn a quick $10 he should have contacted Micon.

I am not posting on his behalf. Obviously I learned of the thread from him, and I was interested to see how it could have 100,000 views. I became fascinated after reading all the posts, and that prompted me to create an account and jump in. It is somewhat of a stretch to say that I am vouching for him honestly. I know him well, and he is a pretty polarizing dude, so from my perspective, it isn't shocking that he didn't become BFF's in real life with his internet buddies. I have to say that I am a little concerned about the guy after reading it. Like I said, I can't relate to how emotionally invested he is in the situation as a whole. It seems like the people involved really meant a lot to him for some reason. I really think he wanted to be involved with/assist in the growth of the website/radio show. I have heard him mention it many times, and he apparently had some ideas he thought could be good for the whole production.

Mostly, I just happen to know something about the situation, and can verify the legitimacy of many of his comments, so I feel compelled to do so. I have a lot of respect for Wolf's character, vision, and intellect.

I am not at all advocating that Drexel should have done anything for Wolf. He easily could have met Wolf and just thought he was too weird to mess around with. The whole situation sounds bizarre to me, but I can validate that Wolf isn't lying. I am certain that Wolf gave Drexel $100 for pills that he never got, and that Drexel gave Wolf the impression that he had him booked for the bracelet bet. Like I said, I had a piece of it, and I also know three other people who did too.

I generally don't agree with Wolf's presentation, but he is telling the truth here.

I have no idea who Drexel or Micon or any of these people are.

He felt connected to Drexel on a personal level that didn't exist. He basically thought they were already besties and he still doesn't fully understand why that is so totally fucked in the head. He feels emotionally hurt like someone who just lost a close personal friend might feel.

brandon has a history of doing this even though i think he did help him a little, but maybe before they met and saw RW's appearance (Drexel has said more than once appearance and how your hold your self is very important) said he might hang out a bit?? but after first meeting seemed like more of a chore than a meet up Brandon should probably have been more upfront and said he was opting out of there alleged plans.
the fact that a lot of people here have outed themselves as near evil i will take this in mind if i decide to post again here.

wow. what a stretch. all fetus knew is that i have an idea for an interactive poker forum that i wanted to discuss with drexel/druff - it is just an idea.

i also am not and have never been friends with anyone from the internet - poker is what draws me to the forums - and no matter what anyone says:

1 - I have learned a lot from listening to Dan Druff for 3 years

2. I feel like i have heard free entertainment from Micon/Druff/Drexel for 3 years

3. the first two seem positive and are the reasons that i would recommend PFA radio to others and donate to PFA freerolls

seriously man - i have called in for years - drexel told me that he wanted to go out to a steakhouse - druff drove over to meet me at 2:30 AM - i didn't think that we were friends, but i did not think that we were enemies - I had numerous conversations on air about meeting up with drexel while i was in vegas - also PM's talking about meeting up - Drexel treated me like a dog - for no reason - all he had to say was no and not take my money or tell me that he had a man willing to escrow funds that i instantly snap called and ask to set up for a serious $3100 total prop bet at 100X odds -
He NO SHOWED on everything and kept on claiming he would handle everything until there was no time left and i finally realized that Drexel is a lying fuckbag -
why did he want to fuck with me this way?

i had money for everything - so...?
