    When to See a Doctor:

A severe pain in right side of chest can be a symptom of a serious medical problem and you should see your doctor for pain in right side of chest, if:

The pain does not go away after a few day or starts getting worse.

    You have problems swallowing.

You have fever and/or chills and cough up a lot of mucus.

The pain is accompanied by nausea, dizziness, trouble thinking, excessive sweating, a rapid heart rate or heavy breathing.

The pain starts to spread to other parts of your body.

The pain is accompanied by a feeling of pressure, squeezing, tightness or crushing.

The pain causes you to faint or collapse.

You are unable to get up or move.

The pain is accompanied by low blood pressure or a low pulse.

    Probably nothing.

Did take a buddy to ER with right side chest pain like 15 years ago that had no explanation. Ended up being a partially collapsed lung. Blood pressure drops with that according to Webmd, so you might want to check. If it's after eating heavy meal, then possibly gallbladder, but probably chest wall pull. Going to ER is obviously the correct play, but you'll likely live

I'm pretty much out of pain after they burnt all my cervical spinal nerves away with radio frequency ablation a few weeks ago, so somebody has to suffer for the forum. I've already declared this my summer of George, so you may have to take the bullet on this one.

So I just got a call from my kid who tells me that her maternal grandfather had a massive coronary and is on a ventilator and has like a week to live. I didn't like getting that call from someone so close to me that was very upset. Don't do that to your family Todd, it's officially not about you anymore.

You should get yourself checked before you wind up in that other ER (euthanasia room) which is not a good place to be.

Welcome to the Age of the “Insurance Card Marriage

Forget green cards. A growing number of Americans are, according to the Los Angeles Times, getting hitched to get health insurance.

Some people marry for love, some for companionship, and others for status or money. Now comes another reason to get hitched: health insurance.
In a poll released today, 7% of Americans said they or someone in their household decided to marry in the last year so they could get healthcare benefits via their spouse.
You use the cover of this forum and its crackpot members to legitimize the perception that you are somehow offbeat and free thinking. In fact, I have come to the conclusion you are frighteningly and disappointingly conventional in most matters.

The marriage issue, however, is nonconformist and thus intriguing. However, based on the the evidence presented to date, oddsmakers make this -178 that marriage is a circumstance dictated by the other party.

I submit this for the jury's review:
Scooping insurance for the price of a marriage license and a prenup looks like a bonus whoring grand slam. Failure to exploit this edge is so outside your range.

I recognize this might have something to do with Marty. I have no life and live vicariously through you and your alter ego so accept this as an exercise in sandbox psychology and not intended to aggravate your condition.

On the insurance topic, have a client who has lymphoma. He is a pharmacist, best insurance money can buy. Extremely wealthy (thank God for him)

They just told him if he has to go on a certain medication, is it going to cost him FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS a month WITH the insurance.

Lost my dad to a heart attack when I was 10 and he was 52. Get checked out, you owe it to yourself and to your kid.

I got Ben ready for school, drove him, and came back and went to sleep.

At about 1pm, woke up again with the chest pain. It had not improved. I quickly looked it up on the internet, and saw that right-side chest pain usually isn't indicative of heart problems. It also sometimes follows physical activity, and I took a long hike on Saturday up and down steep hills, and even carried my old dog when he got tired. So I blamed it on that and went back to sleep again.

It still hurts right now, but there are no other symptoms. Everything else feels normal.

Most people in their mid 40s would run to the ER in this case, but I'm just going to say fuck it and hope it just goes away on its own.

If I don't wake up at some point this week, someone make sure this server is paid for each month, so at least I can live on through the call-to-listen line.

Countless have experienced similiar unexplained chest pain that ends with them walking out of the emergency feeling a bit foolishness and yet relieved. In Canada and Cambodia if memory serves, where the costs are "covered" you'll jump the qeue of the every day bleeders. I have been checked out on three occassions for this, all involving pain on the left. The first time, the pain was bad enough I was afraid to move. I did eventually drive myself to the ER, (cheap is bone deep) and was released without as much as an aspirin offered.

This was all left side chest pain and I know you want to be safe but chill out. Odds say Todd's ok.

Bro no offense but you weigh like 700 lbs and your father died from a heart attack at 52. How old are you?

The reason Druff has chest pains is because he knows that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee.

Druff also has ObamaCare with a high deductible and limited options on going to a doctor that will accept ObamaCare instead of a real health care insurance from an employer.

Most emergency rooms in California are too busy caring for illegal Mexicans.

Druff should find a doctor that will accept cash or use a friend's company to obtain an employer health insurance plan instead of ObamaCare.
