I believe these are the boats

they were apparently moving between kuwait and bahrain at the time, so i guess it's "possible" that it could have drifted.

They boats were CB-90s, which are made for fast attacks, dropping off special forces personnel, high speed and maneuverability in shallow waters, emergency medical situations and evacuations, all manner of things. They are exactly what a foreign country would not allow in their nation's waterways and within their territory. The CB, btw, stands for Combat Boat.

Also, you will be interested to know, they come with fucking anchors built right in, probably for things like not drifting into enemy waters when shit might go wrong just outside a sovereign nations boundaries. Also, maps and GPS and other tools designed to keep you where you intend to be are included.

Also, they are not inflatable.
