Anyhow the juries still out on this one. Have you ever seen anyone with LED lit epoxy tile ever? Some of the posters have been in the public eye - little different - so you gotta treat em a little different. Nearly every controversy and banning recently has revolved around messing with someone's real world reputation. That was always the unpardonable sin. For the most part, we suck with real people. Always goes bad.

Tyde is always challenging people to "out" themselves. Most of us can't handle that. It makes things far more complicated and woulda killed this forum long ago.

Would I use the name of an employee, customer or supplier I got some beef with here? Only once the damage has been done with online reputation would the guy have a chance to respond. Doesn't strike me as a fair fight.

If Tyde wanted to go heads up with an established active member - well, that guy is fair game. He opted in.

Tyde undoubtedly has led a more interesting, crazy life than any one of us. He posts this story and we want to participate vicariously in his hits. I understand aiding in the SEO and piling on. It's Tyde. All common sense is checked at the door.

I just don't think this was cool. Neither Tyde, Todd or those who replied should be too proud.

My issue has nothing to do with who was in the right in this website dispute. I just don't think naming the guy was right.

Frankly, I am surprised by Todd. Did he know going in (when resetting Tyde's password - which is fucking ironic as all shit given this story) what was about to go down?

You make a good point. I've been legit screwed out well into the five figures in my ten years owning this business. Never had chargeback just deadbeats but I never even considered outing anyone on the internet nor will I. Just don't want to go down that road. I figure these are the lowest of the lows and they have to live with themselves. Fuck em.
