Service industry people get shit on really hard. I literally just take zero shit anymore but that's cause I have enough business.

I have seen friends and fellow business owners bend over backwards and then do backflips like a fucking monkey to make stuff right with clients and the clients are still dicks.

Really it boils down to two things. They don't value the services you provide and they think their time is more important than your time.

Somewhere along the lines as a society we taught customers they are always right. When in fact a lot of times they can just be fucking retarded assholes.

btw...re: cold calling, my company has been around for 20 years now with me been running it for the last 10...we never listen to cold callers--if we've survived this long we know what we need to operate and we don't need what they are peddling: my point, i can't feel sympathy for either party in this dispute

re: websites and advertising--we accept clients through referrals only (attorneys, conservators or other clients)...we have a website but its mostly just to have our phone number and address available for a clients... i can't see any value from the product being sold in this dispute.

yes i am for real...you see, the question is, if there is a contract evidenced by a writing containing all the key details, why not use the courts to enforce it instead of posting it here? That is why i asked to see the contract/writing---after all, that is what any attorney, judge or arbitrator would ask...as i read this account, it seems there can be real differences between the parties as to what was going to be delivered to the customer...so a writing is needed to evidence the terms of the deal
