floyd mayweather stripped of his 3 crowns

dude didn't pay the 200k sanctioning fee and vacate the other 2 titles.

so the wbo took them all away....lol......i guess nobody really cares that he's undefeated and boxing's last hope for a revival

here is a comment from the mayweather camp....he doesn't give a shit either....a 220 mil payday allows for that option....lol

"It's a complete disgrace," Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe told ESPN.com.

"Floyd will decide what, or if any, actions he will take. But in the meantime he's enjoying a couple of hundred million he made from his last outing and this has zero impact on anything he does.

    Boxing's last hope for revival???

Whatever it is you're smoking, please ship some out here.

Dude, Mayweather is exactly the opposite of any sort of hope for revival. If anything watching his fights is a giant turnoff for any casual or new boxing fan. He's basically a cancer to the sport and the sooner he is out the better.

Also, didn't he say in the post fight May/Pac interview that he was giving up the belts for the next up and comers in the sport? WBO just beat him to the punch. About time somebody did.

The Final, Final, Final Paycheck Numbers For Mayweather-Pacquiao Were Just Released… And They Are Staggering!!!
    By Travis Pulver

For 36 minutes of work, Floyd Mayweather is going to gross somewhere between $220 and $230 million. That's around $6.1 million per minute in the ring. Roughly $101,851 per second. For his efforts, Manny Pacquiao is going to gross at least $150 million. That comes out to $64,814 per second.

As a Nevada resident, Floyd will pay $90 million to the IRS after deducting an estimated 5% of his earnings for fight-related expenses. There is no state income tax in Nevada. In other words, Floyd will deposit $130 million into his bank account thanks to this one fight.

almost 50 mil people bought ppv to watch floyd /manny. this last fight made boxing prevalent for a short period of time and put it back on the map. unless tyson come out of retirement there is no other current boxer that will generate anything like that. nobody wants to paid big cash to see some undefeated flyweight beat up another one from china.

If he was giving them away anyway, didn't he just easily save himself $200,000 by just not paying the fee?

      JMM: Yup.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

How many of those 50 million do you think watched a fight of Floyd's before this fight? Most bought into for the hype, not because of Floyd. Most likely the majority of people who have bought his fights in the past paid for it hoping to see him lose.

This has actually been a pretty good year for boxing. Not a lot of great fights but some pretty good ones. Unfortunately most of the A level fighters instead of fighting Each are fighting B level fighters. I guess it would be nice if that changed, but due to the politics and finances surrounding boxing I don't see that changing anytime soon.

They gave him a deadline and he ignored it. He's used to being able to do shit like that and everyone sit back and take it. Only himself to blame.

Belts mean so little in boxing anymore. I can't imagine he'd have paid the 200k anyway.

WBO, IBF, WBC, etc. are more criminal enterprises than boxing organizations.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather doesn't give a crap about any more belts.

One more fight next year and that's it?

If the moneys right, it's always about the money.
