Just read Bukowski's repost of the Pac Man story. Funny story that was well told. Of course there's more ...

You worked a cruise ship? The US poker boom in Vegas years?

You need to pull some of that old stuff together and set pen to paper about the rest.

You certainly have a life story that doesn't include raking the leaves and commuting to work in rush hour 5 days a week.

    Salud!

Oh shit, Vegas 1369 came down for a visit.
Just because you can doesn't always mean you should.

The problem with the world today is that nobody does anything based on principal anymore.

If you reach your 80's, consider your life in overtime. Sudden death overtime.

I'll never understand how swimmers get bitten by sharks. Can they not hear the music?

That looks like yellowfin, but if it's bluefin how much does it cost and why is it so much more expensive then yellowfin everywhere I go?

    Doing it right Mort!

    didn't cost a dime

Dave was out last weekend off the Baja coast just south of San Diego on a charter with a few others and bagged a 70 pounder

this is a pic of the entire haul

he brought down 4 pounds of bluefin steaks

personally I prefer the sashimi as opposed to seared, but both styles absolutely delicious

You can hook it up for 70 bucks per person

but we didn't charter a boat this time (that pic is from last week), but spent all day yesterday boogie boarding in 4-6 foot rollers

He's coming back in 3 weeks and we will def be going out with Sergio's

Although people do sportfish for pacific bluefin, I believe those are yellowfin. Still delicious. Deffo make a cerviche.

edit: You know what, ignore me, I think the second from the left is a bluefin so who knows, they might all be.

waves are cranking hard this morning approx 5-7 footers. Nice northwest swell coming in, and it's supposed to get even bigger this afternoon

I'd be out there on my boogie board in a heartbeat, but re-injured my rib dropping in on a 6 footer when I was out with Dave 3 days ago.

Landed totally flat coming off the lip, and fucked up my rib that was almost healed from breaking it 10 weeks ago in Rosarito

gonna need another 4 weeks at least to heal properly

great day to bust out my brand new fishing gear and go looking for a nice halibut from the beach
