awesome day today...perfect weather
the waves here right now are hitting 6-8 feet in the morning
went out to get some sun, and it's amazing how the beach landscape has changed.....the surf came up over 100 yards last night
when I first got here, I was wondering why there was this big ass wall of massive rocks in front of our place.... to get beach access you have to walk around all the way around to the front of the office area....
now I understand...because if the wall wasn't there to stop the high tide surf, the whole place would wash away
you can see from the vid below how hard the waves come in...and this vid is low tide about 1 PM....in the morning during high tide its just pounding the shit out of that barrier
after about an hour today kicking back, I started hearing these kids yelling and whooping it up down the beach. walked over to see what all the ruckus was about and they were prospecting for giant clams
they had 5 of of them when I took this pic
one of them was like as big as a fucking frisbee.
I heard them yelling and celebrating every time they found one.
the kid on the right works at Oxxo down the street...
a few weeks ago I came in at like 2 am, and he was sound asleep on the counter...
sold me some tequila after hours too lol
