It would be nice if that slid north and soaked LA a bit.

I give this location 90 days, MAX. Then it will become lame just like every shithole you ever resided. And LOL at you fishing Halibut for your dinner and picking up clams and crab on the beach. You are a real outdoorsman now. Won't be long before you are hunting sharks for entertainment.
You are sitting in your one room shanty getting shitfaced playing $3 turbos with the shades drawn with some Backstreet Boys in the background.
LOL @ you just tossing lines in the Pacific reeling in fish for your dinner. Are you fucking serious? Why don't you relocate to Wyoming next and kill some bears.
can anyone but bottomset lay down such an unholy firestorm in a tyde thread?
sorry tyde but

Wife booked a cruise for us out of Miami for the Carribean at the end of the month.
Middle of hurricane season and maybe more important, start of baseball playoffs.
She did this once before too. Like WTF.
One time there WAS a hurricane out there. Absolutely, crushed the Grand Caymans. The ship usually reroutes the itinerary - perhaps the new route will "follow" the hurricane and benefit from calm after the storm.
We made the usual daily stops at islands like Grand Cayman and you feel like such a schmuck wandering around in your Bermuda shorts while the natives rebuild their bungalows.
Most of the schools and homes don't even have windows for chrissakes.
I have absolutely no say in this "planning" as I am typically just sitting in front of my computer in my underwear most days and can't argue that I have any plans.
This should end well.
How's the hurricane going Tyde?
RIP Tyde

Looks like it will turn right and mostly miss Ensenada.
Cabo San Lucas Right now:
"Baja California Sur is in a dangerous situation as Odile will continue to bring life-threatening impacts, such as significant flooding and hurricane-force winds, through Tuesday.
Odile made landfall near Cabo San Lucas at 9:45 p.m. PDT on Sunday as a Category 3 hurricane. Odile had estimated winds of 200 kph (127 mph) at landfall. This ties a record for the strongest hurricane to make landfall in Baja California Sur during the satellite era, with Hurricane Olivia in 1967.
Southern portions of Baja California will continue to experience hurricane-force winds and torrential rainfall Monday night as Odile tracks northward.
Storm surge will become less of a concern moving forward as Odile weakens and tracks north over Baja California through midweek."

Tourists sit on the concrete stairs in the service area of a resort after the designated
area for shelter was destroyed by winds in Los Cabos, Mexico, Monday, Sept. 15, 2014.
"The newspaper Tribuna de los Cabos reported people being injured by flying glass, power lines and traffic signals down throughout the city and a fire at the Cascadas resort on Medano Beach. No details about the blaze were immediately available.
The storm’s maximum sustained winds were near 110 mph (175 kph) as it moved over the peninsula as a Category 2 hurricane. It was centered about 40 miles (60 kilometers) west of La Paz and moving to the north-northwest at 16 mph (26kph)."

I think it would be great to be stuck in a third world country during a hurricane. End sarcasm.
Yeah I went with the easy joke but hey dog food is free.
Luckily the Army is there to hold open the door so 14-year-olds can loot beer safely:
