since we are living vicariously through druff, i think it would be a good idea to have a thread where we can get personal and ask some personal and not so personal questions

Nice thread. Surprised no one thought of it before. I am guessing Druff hasn't moved into PLO because of the swings. I feel stud games can be very profitable because it is harder to fold the second best hand than in hold'em.

I don't want to swap careers with my brother. I never had a desire to become a doctor. Too much work, especially getting there.

Interesting. When I say "swap careers" I think I mean the day to day from today onward, not having to start from scratch.

I still know 2-3 people with their hopes and dreams on going to medical school and in all honesty, the stuff they are going through now (still years away from even being qualified to apply) is downright appalling. Out of curiosity, do you mind sharing any relevant stories about your sibling and his medical journey? Nothing too specific, but like was being a cardiologist his dream growing up? How did he land on the medical school path in the first place? Did he struggle with grades or finances or anything? What was your internal reaction when he made the choice, was accepted, graduated etc. perhaps most compelling- siblings naturally are competitive with each other, how do your lives stack up? Are you even the slightest bit jealous and vice versa?

Wouldn't that then qualify as paranoia not OCD?
