From watching one of the videos I'm not sure I want to see people in public waving their hands like this over their phone it looks hella retarded imo.
The camera is solid as hell though.
Here's cnet's video and pictures-

I have had the S2 since it came out and I got my wife an S3 on Black Friday (for $50). Both have been very sturdy and trouble free.
The 25% increase in battery capacity is a big deal to me. My only minor complaint is the metal frame on the edge. It's too iPhone-esque. But if it improves reception, then I'm obviously all for it.
I will definitely be picking one up ASAP.
Some of the new features of the S IV will possibly be coming to the S III

That looks .... Delicious. May have a convert come April, or May, or whenever it drops. Kind of disgusted with Apple ATM.
The problem with these devices is that they have a 2 year lifespan max. I will probably get one though as my droid razr max is about toast.
El Gallo is probably camped out in line at Verizon, swearing at me under his breath for buying him two S III's when I knew all along he would drop and break them.
Might as well start carrying around mini tablets? 5 inch screen on a phone?

That's exactly the idea.

S3 easily the best phone I have ever had. It is not even close to tablet size, and it feels smaller because it is so light. The battery lasts FOREVER too. Can't imagine what the S4 is going to be like.
I laugh when people talk about their little (literally) Iphones like they are something special in 2013.

this article sums up all the details on the phone very nicely

On some of the sites like Engadget, they have written stories over the past few months, about how many of the former fanboys/proponents of Apple have all jumped ship and are now either using Android or in some cases now working for Android. Apple's spin doctors arent earning their keep at the moment.
A lot of relatively level headed, platform agnostic types I know have been saying quietly that Apple will never really recover from Jobs' death. I thought it was hyperbole personally but just looking at the list of features on the S4, I think they were 100% dead right.

The problem Apple ran into was they were never innovative, they were just better at marketing.
Now they ran into a company that has deep pockets, is good at marketing and is innovative. That is a bad mix for Apple.
You can't put out a product that everyone else has had for a year and spin it as you created something new and wonderful.
