My client has instructed me to investigate allegations of theft regarding certain charitable donations.
I am aware that my client has meagre funds, but given the nature of this case, I have offered my services on a pro bono basis.
Furthermore my client has requested that I post this information on this web site under the "Projekt Sep" thread. While this is an unusual request, I believe my client is somewhat elderly and this may be the reason he is unable to type this information here himself.
My initial investigations relate to the "22Q Tournament Room". Details on this have now been removed from the "PodcastVegas" web site, but I have been able to ascertain former details from the internet archive web site http://web.archive.org/web/201212211...com/pokerroom/
This contains a web link to the poker room site at the foot of the page. I understand the link may be hidden in certain web browsers such as "Mozilla Firefox" but is visible in "Microsoft Internet Explorer" and "Google Chrome"
The specific link is non-functioning but the web site address http://195.234.11.100:8007/ is still an active site. I would ask that any users of this poker room software review their account balance there to ascertain which funds may be outstanding.
If you have remaining funds, please contact me by "Direct Message" on this web site.
So they never got $3500 initially, just $2021 (another $1479 missing)
There is also $712 unaccounted for.
$1135 of player bank money.
And another "undetermined amount".
PLUS the $3000 he was supposed to send in on top of it all??
So now we are at......
$6326 PLUS an undetermined amount of money?
Is this correct?
No, John reported on the air that the donation amount was around $6500 total, $3500 online, and $3000 in the poker room. John had access to see the online donation total, but was not able to touch that money. I believe he inflated his reported figures of the online donations to make the podcast look more successful. Just a lie to the listeners to make it sound more successful.
I dont think so Joe. A pokerstars pro shipped my buddys account on pokerstars 270 and I shipped that to John. That's just one instance. There could be more where people just donated to his paypal etc...

The final tally was a shade over $6,600 (I found the press release I wrote). I think the discrepency is that some users donated directly to 22Q and bypassed the VPR link, or sent the money directly to Johnny.

So what is the total (or rough estimate) that Jasep was responsible for. Was it 3k, 3500, or more?

Ok, and I highly doubt he would over report the #, he may not have set out to take the money and then did

4600 imo
Yes. The charity expected to receive $6,600 and has received just over $2,000. Now, Jasep may have tallied donations made directly to 22Q (on the 22Q website) by users but I would assume this would total a couple hundred dollars at the most.

Hey Joe, I bought into the 22Q poker room for $25 and I believe got it up to $74 and told them to donate it to the foundation. I'm more sad over that than getting rolled for the Bap. Stealing from me is one thing but taking money that's suppose to help sick kids is just disgusting.
It is one thing to be a opportunist scammer and roll members in this forum for a stake but to steal from kids... It takes the sociopathy to a new level. I dont think even Peter DC would roll children.

I'm starting to agree with this assesment. Assuming those funds are missing this seems like it was premeditated considering he scrambled to put it all together and came up with the idea in the first place. I also recall him griping on air that more guests weren't making donations. He may have seen this as a chance to make five-figures when he put it together.
But this is what sociopaths/psychopaths do, they fool people and leave a trail of scorched earth and burnt bridges once the gig is up, and if he stole from that charity than he fooled me, and pretty much everyone else, really good.

Shane Burdick, of Elmira, is charged with grand larceny and scheming to defraud the American Cancer Society.
The felony complaint against Burdick alleges that he stole property from the ACS in the form of more than $1,100 dollars cash by falsely representing the organization.

From reading all the conjecture and guessing on amounts that may or may not have been donated to the Foundation I guess you have figured out that there were not enough checks an balances as far as persons in charge. And there has been talk of replacing said monies with another donation fund, that is well and good, but might I suggest that you not only pick someone you feel you can "trust", but more than one person, and to handle this in such a transparent way that not one soul from this communtiy or from anyone on the outside, be able to even suggest that things are not as they seem. Try to set that up prior to taking ANY monies to donate. It would probably go a long way as far as the rest of the world taking any more fund raisers seriously from here. imo
Here is what is going to happen. He is going to realize people have too much info about him and he just can't run like Pete Falcone did and get away with it. He will come crawling back begging for forgiveness, say he will try to pay everyone back but just don't go to the police about the charity thing! A few dumbasses will buy it and get on his side, arguing that he just made a mistake and got in a bad spot blah blah blah.
I say fuck him, call the cops, press charges and make his life as miserable as possible. No mercy. In his current mental state he is contributing to the delinquency of a minor and she would be better off in her mother's care exclusively while he pays for what he did in jail anyway. The child is probably in danger being around such a disturbed person.
Maybe then he will get a FUCKING JOB because that is what normal people in the country do to sustain their lives and the lives of others they brought into this world. He is also going to have lawyers to pay and will need money for that, so this might be a good thing to get his fat ass off the couch and try to make something of his sorry pathetic self.

I had the full thing until the beginning of January. I basically pulled dozens (hundreds?) of short sound clips out of the thing for radio, and made each interview it's own mp3 for youtube uploading. Not rocket science, and it was fun to go through it all, but with 50+ hours of radio to sort, it took some effort. In early january, I finally just deleted the 5 gbs of audio on my desktop, because when would I ever have a need for that shit again? I have tons of interviews and clips saved in google drive, but not the full eps.
I do, however, have a shit ton of Sep clips I'll go through, for lulz and mockery purposes. Maybe I'll upload them all somewhere so everyone can enjoy them. You have any problems with that, Sep?

I never considered this. I guess we could be looking at a $4500 issue. This saga makes me sicker by the minute.
I have reached out to him today by e-mail expressing the seriousness of the situation. My fear is that he won't respond. I hope he does for his sake.
