I was on under but my personal approach to game unders saved me. I split the bet 50/50 between 1h and game.
All football when scoring starts it just snowballs and never slows down. Its not often that a 1h goes over and game goes under. It happens but its usually in a blowout type situation. Unders more often than not start under and finish under.
That's a good observation. This can especially happen in the 4th when teams start making desperate moves which end up working out, which then forces the other teams to make desperate moves on their end.

How many times have you had an under which looks good until the final 3 minutes, and then falls apart?
I'm sure that's baked into the overall line, but still... when leaning under, going 1H if it's a close matchup and entire game if it's likely to be a blowout might be the play. Next season I might try that.

Really fucking annoyed right now. I have been dabbling in NBA player props and had 2 unders that were winners turn into losers when the Den-Phil game went to overtime. (Embiid and Brown U rebounds, where Brown's last rebound to seal the deal happened with 4 seconds left in OT).
Just as annoying I have Clippers +3 and a couple props on Clipper game and cant watch it because it is exclusively on Peacock.
I took 2nd half U123.5. Basically just did it because I was pissed I lost 2 prop bets in OT of the Sixers game. Thought I was ok, but 9 points were scored in last minute of the 3rd Q; so not great.
