thought he deserves his own thread with all the fraud he is uncovering, which brings me to my next point... why in the fuck did it take a basic low level independent journalist to bring this to light??!!! where in the fuck have the Feds been and doing???!!! i understand the Biden Feds were turning a blind eye... but now that Nick is exposing all this, the Trump Feds act like they have been on the case the whole time... yeah right!!! if it wasn't for Nick none of this was going to get exposed imo... fuck just let Nick be the lead investigator...

anyways now someone has broken into one of theses buildings and stole all the documents and workers records and the whole shit bang... lmao...�� i am sure there will be more "break ins " and records lost or stolen...

I just had a discussion about Shirley with someone last night. They insisted that he has impure motivations and is just a sensationalist.

My response?

If he's exposing actual fraudsters, I don't care what his motivations are, nor do I care that he is short on absolute proof.

When I expose scammers in poker/gambling, I don't always have 100% proof. I have to go on what appears clear to anyone with common sense who would look at the situation.

Props to him for getting attention to this long-running problem which both the media and the state of Minnesota mostly ignored.

LOL @ all the videos / posts / media reports out there claiming that Nick Shirley was harassing innocent businesses.

CBS News, for example, accepted "timestamped videos" showing a few kids entering one of the places (not the Learing Center though).

First off, timestamps can be modified on many systems. You can record stuff today and label it as yesterday.

But it's not just that. The 2015 fraud DID involve kids entering. However, the kids also left a few minutes later out the back way, and the parents were given payments for their cooperation.

Any investigation needs to be a lot more far-reaching than "Here's a timestamped video showing kids entering the facility".

There's also the large possibility that a few kids were there (for show), but that they were claiming far more when asking the government to pay them.

If you are watching 10 kids and billing the government for 50, that's still massive fraud.

its funny because the somali community in minnesota has been like this joker in the gop's deck for something like a decade and things are so far off the rails that they have chosen now to finally 'pull back the curtain'.

people have no fucking idea how absurd it is out there, it really is like another country.

i cant find the thread i mentioned this in but example; if you get off your flight carrying liquor, eg from the duty free shop, somali drivers wont let you in their fucking cars because alcohol is haram.

like zero point zero effort has been made to assimilate them, i assume its because they reliably vote blue.

but that said, you cant imagine a more fertile ground for islamic terrorists to set up shop and it seems at face value that the somalis are policing the shit out of their community because i _never_ hear about shit popping off over there. and statistically thats impressive.

i bet at least some of this fraud is 'blind eye' situations because the people involved are doing solids for the fbi.

that said the other big question is; how much of it is legally fraud, and how much of it is just cashing in on loopholes? like do you legally _need_ kids at your 'daycare center' to qualify and maintain accreditation / funding?

we shall soon see.

wouldnt be shocked to see a lot more radicalization in that community after this either.
