    Bovada Delays Withdrawals

    Bovada's Phone Verification not working. Withdrawals and updates to Profile not allowed until Phone Verification is working. Bovada working on the issue but its been 2 weeks now. Anyone having the same issue?

    Have you tried calling them?

    Not sure if this still works, but the phone # is 888-263-0000

    Thanks the number is good. Nobody able to take the call at this time. I will try again tomorrow.

    Try between 8am and 5pm ET on weekdays.

    If you are getting nowhere with one of the first level monkeys, ask for a supervisor.

    If you can't get anywhere with that person, ask if you can speak to the "finance team" or "financial services", as that's middle management, and they have power. But sometimes they won't take calls. Hit and miss with that.

    Let me know what happens.

    I just requested a withdrawal from Bovada using BTC. It went through with no glitches. Also, I revised my profile slightly and it was saved with no issues. Are you using a VPN when you correspond with them? Sometimes I forget to disconnect my VPN. With the VPN connected, none of the sports books I use will let me enter their website.

    Called 888 number @ 12;16 EST. Response: "Agents Unavailable at this Time Use Live Chat."

    At 12:25 EST I logged into live chat: Miquel was my monkey. He says the issue of SMS verification has been escalated.

    Bottom Line: Live Chat says I have to wait to receive an e-mail from the SMS verification team. I ask to speak to someone in Finance and was told to wait until i received an e-mail.

    It has been 10 days since trying to withdraw funds and my issue was escalated by live chat.


    Always had no issue withdrawing funds until Bovada implemented Phone Verification. Most other companies have no issues implementing this.

    This sounds like that, for whatever reason, you can't receive SMS messages from them, and that prevents you from withdrawing.

    Is that correct?

    Does anyone else have this issue that you know of?

    I've never had an issue withdrawing from Bovada, although it's never been for anything larger than like $800. I've been a BTC only account for many years.

    Last night I requested another withdrawal from Bovada. I only use BTC.
    No issues and no SMS involved. The withdrawal went through and was processed quickly.
    I am not thrilled that they charge me a fee for the withdrawal but they have been doing that for quite a while.

    I have not been able to withdraw funds or update my profile since since Nov 8th. Bovada has not fixed my Phone Verification issue. I have not been able to reach anybody except online chat support. Is there any other way to withdraw funds?

    Good News Bovada's online chat was able to update the phone number on my profile to a different phone, I can withdraw funds as of now.

    Great to see it worked out. I figured this one would resolve eventually, since it was due to a technicality, and not a ruling debate or unjust ban.

    Still took WAY too long for them to fix this, but at least it had a happy ending.

    Most of the time, you have to get lucky and reach a competent customer service rep. Whether it is by phone or texting, most of these service reps are clueless on how to rectify a problem. The one bright rep will know what to do and get it done for the customers. Unfortunately most of the customer service reps are dimwits. This doesn't only apply to Bovada. It can be a dumbass rep from your cable company or power company or even Amazon and you will still be forced to continue trying to reach the right rep to resolve your issue. It is maddening to say the least. I have been there too as have most people.
    Glad you got your withdrawal issue resolved.
