Not one US troop has gotten involved in the current Israeli war, nor is there talk of doing so.
The amount of aid given to Israel is a drop in the bucket compared to the federal budget.
I would understand a passing objection to the US aid to Israel, along the lines of, "I don't agree with our tax dollars being used this way. It should stop." I don't agree with it, but at least I understand it, nor would I fault anyone for saying it.
However, this doesn't explain the passion with which people like Fuentes, Owens, and others like them are harping on the Israel issue. If you honestly believe it's just a concern about our tax dollars, or belief that a foreign government influences the US, then you are naive.
It's all part of a longstanding anti-Semitism which many have held in for a long time, but most were afraid to say because it would invite heavy criticism and wouldn't get them anywhere beyond their own fringe. Fuentes was one of the people who was hating Jews all along, so at least he has stayed consistent. A lot of the others are "just asking questions" or are "concerned for America", when in reality they've just found a moment to strike against the Jews/Israel while the iron is hot.
If you've felt for a long time that the Jews control the world, and that nothing you say has made a dent in the situation, and suddenly there's an anti-Israel sentiment taking hold among a large number of people worldwide, you jump at this opportunity. This is what you were waiting for. All of a sudden, for this brief moment, all of your stupid conspiracies look plausible to some.
You can always discern someone's true motivation by their passion they have for any particular subject.
Why do certain people have such passion regarding Israel? And what might some of them gain from bashing Israel at the moment?
Answer that, and you might understand why this rhetoric is being pushed so hard in certain circles.

The Fuentes interview has further exposed the civil war within the right wing social media. Mark Levin had already called Tucker an antisemite and a maggot. And Tucker has called Levin, Hannity and Murdoch warmongers.
But Levin has exploded on Tucker over the Fuentes interview calling Tucker everything but a white man for platforming Fuentes. If you watched the interview Fuentes told Tucker he listened to Levin regularly while in high school. And it was Levin that radicalized him on race. Levin had made a comment back then "minorities will be a majority by 2044. Does anyone see the problem with that?" Levin damn sure didn't want that comment to be rehashed. And he had to go to great lengths on his show to explain it away.

I never heard Kirk’s voice before he was shot. I had no clue who he was tbh. Still feel I’m playing the game correctly though.
I don't want to see Fuentes become more prominent, nor do I want to see him become any kind of voice for conservatives.

This Fuentes thread has piqued my interest in what's going on with the right wing influencers on social media. I had no clue who Fuentes was or what he did until this thread. Didnt take me long to conclude that he's just a punkass loudmouth internet troll. But I do find his schtick funny.
Megyn Kelly is saying she was bombarded with threats after delivering milquetoast criticism of Israel. And that she and other right wing influencers are being offered big money by the Jewish lobby to condemn Tucker Carlson. Levin called Carlson an antisemite and a maggot. Tucker's views here lately are bizarre to me. He was totally against bombing Iran's nuclear sites and swore it would start WWIII. In hindsight, that middle east peace plan would have never come to fruition if Trump hadn't destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities. The other countries in the region are no longer afraid of Iran.
And he's against the war in Gaza and aid to Israel. He loathes Christian Zionists. That means me. Yes, I have religious training. Father's side Baptist. Mother's side Methodist. Both grandmother's sunday school teachers. I grew up in both Churches. Christ is King! But I've always supported Israel's right to exist.
