Occasionally when there's something going on where desertrunner is contributing to the conversation, I will kick up the posting limits by a few.

I forgot to move it back down. It was at 13, I've dropped it back to 10.

I would like to see him creating fewer threads. Scrolling down the front page, there are too many by him, compared to everyone else (even me). Some of the threads are good/decent, but some are not. In general, I don't want to see a master or general thread about every topic that comes to mind.

FYI, some of the mods on PFA were custom-written by me (such as the bump-restriction mod), and some were written by third parties which I found online. vBulletin has no way to restrict daily posts by user (at least not this version of vBulletin), so I had to get a third party piece of software for it. Well, I could've written one myself, but I didn't feel like it.

Anyone, this one is pretty good, except it's lacking the ability to control both number of new threads AND number of new posts. I just have to select a number for everything combined. Otherwise I'd have put on some kind of daily and weekly thread-creating restriction. I think it's the threads that are making it look like he's more active than he is. 13 posts per day isn't a ton, but when several of those are either making new threads or replying to his old ones, that makes it seem like he's dominating the forum.
