    STARBUCKS COFFEE

** Druff- Please dont change the title of this general thread as I will come back later and update. Thank you.

I am not a coffee drinker, but like one of their non-coffee drinks and blueberry muffins. I also follow Starbuck's stock to see how they are doing. Seems like Dutch Bros is growing and more of a threat. Not sure on the status of Peet's Coffee either, although they just lost a key spot at the Sacramento Airport. At first, I thought his topic was just normal re-structuring, now I see its fueled by the woke and left winged agenda. Go woke go broke.

Question- Is Starbucks going to rebuild and bounce back? Buy their stock now at a low? - DR

Going woke and hard left-winged politics did not help Starbucks and a major factor here...

Starbucks has been accused of "woke politics" due to its support for social causes like Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ+ rights, as well as its employee-led efforts to promote social justice messaging, such as #RaceTogether and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. This has led to boycotts from conservative consumers and investors and sparked debates about its corporate social responsibility and the impact of such activism on its brand and profits

Starbucks is closing over 100 North American stores — here are the locations we know so far

    - Starbucks on Thursday announced it would close 1% — more than 100 — of its North American stores.

    - The announcement didn't specify which locations would close, so Business Insider started a list.

    - Starbucks said in a statement that it is grateful to the communities its coffeehouses have built.

    - Starbucks will close dozens of Bay Area stores as part of a larger plan to shutter hundreds of locations across the U.S., Canada and Europe.

    - The company is also laying off 900 nonretail employees and says closures will target stores without a path to financial stability or customer experience standards.

    - Affected workers will be offered severance or transfers, while Starbucks projects it will have about 18,300 North American stores by the end of its fiscal year, down from 18,734 in June.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

While there is no official list, online employee postings indicate about 36 California Starbucks have been told their locations will close as part of the company’s national retrenchment.
The coffee shop at 9420 Reseda Blvd. in Northridge will be closing.
According to ABC News, “the coffee giant said the store closures would start immediately, but they didn't give an exact number of stores that are closing. That being said, the bulk of the closures appear to be in the U.S. and Canada. For California specifically, the state will be losing about 36 locations, 20 of which are in Los Angeles.”
“The company said the Starbucks app will be updated by Sunday with up-to-date hours of operation, including closures,” ABC reported.

Remember when they let the homeless invade lol, oh boy. One store out here had to shut down for a while rofl.

They hired a bunch of wacky trannies that also did not work out.

Starbuck's has a strategic partnership with one, Valor Equity Partners...
    Don't ever believe the bullshit
    It wasn't the trannies.
    Starbuck's went woke then broke.
All you can eat shrimp destroyed Red Lobster.
    It's inflation driving up prices.

    No it's private equity,
Check this out, this should be alarming. This is how under the radar they are flying.
There are 19000 PE firms in the USA
There are under 14000 Mcdonalds in the USA.
What % of Americans understand how PE works, how their lil debt scam works.
Very very low to be sure.

Hey DesertRunner I want to buy your business for 100k, i'll put up 10k your business can take out a loan for the remaing 90k. I'm going to charge your business a massive fee's and cash out in a couple years and your business will be stuck paying the debt. Hahaha great deal.

Their scam was about to revealed, the creditors were about to stick the tax payers with the bill aka bailout.. Trump saved them, the scam rolls on by allowing them to plunder 401k's.

    Cliffs: FUCK TRUMP!

Get off the Trump train already.

Meh. I think they just over-built, there is a lot of competition, and people are buying less high priced coffee. I dont think left wing politics are really what is going on. A couple stores closed because their workers tried to unionize and Starbucks didn't want to deal with the nonsense. But that is literally a few stores out of thousands that are closing.

Good points and I agree with them over-building and over priced product. Add in all of the outside competition like Peets and Dutch Bros rising. I do hope they can unionize soon.
