I also felt like there was some piece missing as to why the guy hated Kirk so much. The doxxing/cancelling of people talking shit about Kirk after the murder is not good, and I don't support it.
I am against cancel culture of all kinds. I can't cheer it on because it's now being used against leftists. There's a small part of me that says, "This is fitting because the left cancelled so many conservatives over the past decade", but still, I can't support it. This just needs to stop in general.
The one exception involves those in some sort of very public facing position, such as in entertainment. If you hold a position where it's important that a company doesn't lose half its audience due to your partisan speech, you need to keep your mouth shut. This is true on both sides. So I have no sympathy for the sportscaster who loses his job because he talks shit about Kirk after the murder, and the organization that hired him wants no part of the controversy and lost ratings. You have to be smart enough to moderate your speech when holding a position where it's important for everyone to like you.
But everyone else? I don't agree with these firings/cancellations. This even includes teachers, unless they bring it into the classroom and talk shit about Kirk there. But if a teacher wants to post on Facebook that they're glad Charlie died, they shouldn't get fired for that.

Presumably Tyler Robinson was not trans himself, and was not on any hormones which could have affected his emotions. And it seems that his trans boyfriend probably didn't have anything to do with this, though I suppose it's possible he knew something.
I don't consider this a trans-perpetrated killing, but it's trans-adjacent killing, and as mentioned before, there also might have been trans accomplices.
It's also very possible that he was influenced by violent trans friends, who wanted Kirk dead, and this idiotic kid wanted to play hero for his trans boyfriend and the trans community in general.
If you look at JK Rowling's X account, she's constantly being physically threatened by trans all over the globe, especially in the UK. Amazingly, nothing happens to most of these people, despite all of the arrests taking place in the UK for speech-related "offences". Also, relatively few people speak out against trans who threaten women, as if it's totally fine to do if the women offend them. Imagine us living in a world where the LEFT is okay with men threatening to hurt or kill women.
Anyway, this is the sort of thing where if you build up a demographic as victims under existential threat, they will act like cornered animals and attack. This is especially true if this group is on powerful hormones which can amplify their emotions. The left has propped up this gender nonsense for the past decade-plus, in order to cast Republicans as villains, and now we are seeing some of the results of it. What's especially ridiculous is the fact that trans have existed for many decades, and nobody really discussed them or cared about them, until the left decided to exploit the issue for political gain.
There's also been the huge mistake of declassifying gender dysphoria as a form of mental illness. Note that often gender dysphoria accompanies other forms of mental illness, or is a symptom of a greater mental illness beyond that. There should be a serious attempt to treat the mental illness first, and then transition (adults only) as a last resort.
An angry, unhinged subculture has needlessly been created, and we are going to see more of this until the elephant in the room is addressed.
Trying to take their guns away isn't the right approach. It needs to be a top-down change regarding how gender dysphoria is viewed, and the best practices regarding treating it.
