I watch so much court, I'm very familiar with sov-cits, they are the absolute worst people ever and they spew this bullshit in court mostly knowing it has no standing in law, yes you have the right to travel, by your own two feet you do not have a right to drive without a license or license plates or insurance

I didn't watch the video the op posted.

However, I watch various court/police video channels almost every day, especially in the past couple of years(seriously and I'm not even exaggerating). A bulk of the videos (and the most enjoyable), deal with Sovcits.

I could go on and on about this, but the delusion they have is nothing less than astounding.

In a nutshell, they read a bunch of absolute bullshit on the internet that they somehow believe over anything else. They will believe this bullshit over any lawyers or even judges, and they will defy them and the law repeatedly, even if it lands them in jail or prison.

Absolutely none of their tactics have ever ultimately worked, despite them claiming they do.

A little trivia for those wondering where their infamous claims of "the right to travel" ultimately originate from:

There is a legitimate lawyers dictionary called the "Blacks Law Dictionary". This dictionary has been around for decades, and there have been multiple versions printed over the decades.

Im not a lawyer myself, but I think lawyers use this dictionary if need be,, to decipher the meaning of certain words in certain laws written over the ages.

The current version may have changed, I dont know.The last I checked a few years ago. the current version was 11.

Now, to perfectly clear, this is a DICTIONARY, nothing more. It doesn't cite laws or statutes or anything else.

The whole kicker here is that sovcits LOVE to use this dictionary to define "traveling" and "driving".

What they leave out is the fact that they are using an extremely outdated version of the Blacks Law Dictionary - Version 2. I cant remember the exact date, but this version was written more or less before cars were a normal thing ( very early 1900's) They use those 1900's definitions of "driving" and "traveling" against CURRENT laws on the books.

Anyway, that is my basic understanding of this. If any lawyers here want to chime in to correct me or add anything, please do.

Every lawyer has a copy of Blacks, or access to it on line, but it’s not the law. First, if the legislature defines a word, that’s the end of the discussion, period. Otherwise, a judge will interpret a word in its ordinary meaning. Dog means dog. If it’s ambiguous, they might look to legislative intent, or what courts in other jurisdictions have done. In that case a lawyer could argue that the judge should consider the Black’s definition.

I am also addicted to the cop shows on tv which include Oxegyn , dateline, Cops,IdMax and the court tv. Funny episode were someone before they got sentenced extolled how much he respected the judge and law was then sentence and hurdled himself across the judges desk and attacked her.

These people are idiots.

You can believe idiotic legal theories that you have a "right to travel" without a driver's license, or that you have a "right not to pay taxes", but that doesn't stop the government from arresting you and throwing you in the slammer for violating the law.

If the courts do not typically uphold your legal theory, it's as useful as believing that you can buy a mansion with monopoly money.
