You can buy a 2023 Tesla 3 series with 6k miles for less than a shitty 2022 Chevy Malibu with 40k miles. You can buy same Tesla 3 for less than a 2019 shitty Honda civic with 38k miles. Those are real prices when I looked the other day. It is a nice looking car, and I wouldn't have to worry about vandalism here. It was legit like $20k for Tesla 3 with 6k miles. Ones with 12k-15k miles were $16k. They were weirdly priced all over the place. 2022 were occasionally higher, then 2023s were anywhere from firesale to people looking for $30k for vehicles with same packages. It is like none are moving and some are purely distress sales to get rid of them.
I have never saw cars lose more value quicker. It is tempting to just grab one as a spare after a few days of hot baseball betting just to drive around town and keep miles low on nicer vehicles. I didn't do any homework as to charging stations and whatnot and whether 2023 was a bad model given their price. I was just shocked at how cheap they were. I have heard they drive like shit but they are priced cheaper than economy cars at this point when they rolled off at like $45k-60k 18 months ago.
Musk will conduct Q1 earnings call in Mandarin tomorrow. Should be a hoot
I hear Zuckerberg is much more fluent in Chinese than Musk.
I didn't even think of that tbh. As I said, I did zero homework. It just popped up on CarGurus for local cars <30 miles from me and I was like wtf? Then I started searching other cheaper cars out of curiosity. Then I thought is that a buy? But I didn't go any further than that.

the hottest take on wsb is that elon is probably going to give up the side quests and focus on tsla but that it wont matter because he hasnt delivered on anything in a very, very, very long time and likely never will again.
coming from wsb, who are responsible for at least 95% of elons value, thats some wild shit.
