That actually is not true, at least in 2016. Trump wanted Christie as his VP pick and Ivanka and Jared stepped in and pushed Pence. Mostly from Jared whose father was prosecuted and jailed by Christie. You are correct now though, Christie has been an outspoken critic of Trump now for many years, almost certainly because it gets him a paid gig on the ABC Sunday show. You will see Nikki Haley soon on the View in a Chris Christie type of role, she will need a job soon its not like she is wealthy but obviously has huge tastes and by all accounts likes to sleep around. She is going to need a paycheck fast.
