The problem with both was the extremes.
Abortion is now 6 weeks, which is too extreme. But the bill was way too far to the left with zero restrictions. There has to be a happy medium that makes sense.
Same with weed, it totally favored the big companies with zero personal plants allowed. Why not say 5 plants per person? Why not allow some upstarts to enter the market?
Daly is correct on both 60% is in the state constitution and they both will be back with better common sense bills in 2 years. Also in 2 years Governor Ron won’t be on the ballot. Which in itself will be a race on the GOP side to replace him.
NYT in a clandestine fashion just called Trump the winner.
Trump is ahead in Virginia with over 30% of the vote in. Obviously that doesn't mean he's going to win but Biden won VA by 10.1%.
The US military is set to conduct a test launch of a hypersonic nuclear missile hours after polls close on Election Day.
An unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) is scheduled to blast off between 11:01pm and 5:01am PT from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base.
wtf

"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
10 point divergence between Trump to win the general, 71%, vs Trump to win PA, 61%.
Obviously intentionally sending a message. Trump connections likely had a hand in it. I lol'd every time people suggested that the US didn't have hypersonic weapons. We've had better ones longer than any other country, we just have much higher standards for what's considered operational. The TMRR to OT&E process on that type of thing would typically take many years, but the criticism faced for pretending we had been surpassed rushed up and super-funded more world ending weapons projects. The shit in development is insane.
They don't want to believe it. Trump filled an arena that probably held 16k with floor seats to see him come in near midnight in Grand Rapids and not leave the stage until 2:15am. I witnessed with my own eyes no voter presence in a major metropolitan area for her. There were more people voting early in multiple cities I've seen every day since it started that are 10x smaller than at what should have been her best location there.
