I just asked them about it on Twitter.

alpha can you post the entire list of people who cashed?

I want to add it up.

Supposedly money came out of the pool for those who "double bagged" ($8k each), which is fine, but supposedly there were 12 double baggers. So I want to see if the cashes all add up to at least $904k.

Okay, I obtained the PDF of what alpha posted.

    Here it is: https://www.thebike.com/pdf/tourname...sic_result.pdf

Here is the blog indicating that 10 people double bagged (for a bonus of $8k each) and one tripled bagged (for a bonus of $16k).
The double baggers are highlighted in yellow, triple bagger was in blue (see left side only): https://thebikepokerfeed.com/current...kwest-classic/

This means the prizepool should have been $904k, as $96k was removed for the double and triple baggers, which is fine.

I manually added up all 103 prizes with a calculator. They come out to exactly $904k, which combined with the $96k above, adds up to $1m.

This means that Bike did properly pay the overlay, which was reported as $50k.

They do need to work on their communications. They prizepool sheet should be more clear about this (you see how misleading it was), and they should have someone manning their social media so a semi-viral post like mine can be quickly debunked, rather than let the rumors spread like wildfire. BTW, I was simply asking them for clarification, not making an allegation.

I do apologize for the confusion, but this wasn't due to a mistake on my part. Their results sheet was highly misleading, and left out important information. However, I am glad to see that they handled the payouts honestly and as promised.

I will go delete my tweet and post an update linking to this post.
