Games are Rigged at South Point

I just ran across this recent review on PokerAtlas. Just variance or is there something to the games at South Point? I've only heard speculation, but it does tend to add up as stories like this continue to spread. Again, this is not my review.

I would highly recommend that everyone stay away from South Point Casino's poker room. The auto shufflers are rigged and the casino uses house players that can never be beat to cheat you out of your money.

I have played a total of 2 hands and have lost 2 buy ins. First time was a couple of years ago, and the second time was last night. The hands played out exactly the same way and I played a total of one hand each night. I got dealt JJ both times and the house player got dealt KK both times.

I had the button each time. Someone raised in middle position and I 3-bet and he shoved all in. The cheater makes a @#$% statement and says, "need black cards". When he said that, I figure he is weak and must have a suited connector or something and thought my JJ were ahead at that point. He has to show first but refuses and makes me turn my cards over first and the dealer just sat there. I turn over my JJ and he turns over two red Kings.

The problem with the poker room is that the dealer didn't police the game like he should have. He allowed the player to slow roll me and force me to turn my hand over first even though I was last to act. I also made a mistake preflop and wanted to bet a different amount but the dealer forced me to put in way more money than I wanted to because he said I announced my bet but I didn't.

Played a total of two hands in the span of 5 years and lost them both the exact same way. You'll never convince me that it isn't rigged. The odds of being dealt JJ is 5% and the odds of another player having a higher pair is 12%. The odds of this happening twice in a row is 1.44%.

I waited for the BB and so I watched the table play 4 hands. Nobody raised, they all limped and played super passive. Then my first hand, the middle position player opens for 7x the BB and then he looked up at me. That is beyond strange since there were 3 players to act before me. The fact he looked at me tells me they rig the games and that he was a shill or prop player. It would also explain why the dealer let him break the rules and why he forced me to put in more money than I wanted to.

Stay away from this poker room unless you want to get cheated and have your money stolen from you.

Players may have been soft playing each other but 2 hands is not enough to prove cheating

last week I lost AA to a straight on the river. The exact same thing happened in 1996. I was cheated! and they waited 28 years to set it up again!

Lol. This shit happens all the time. You could have called the floor and made him reveal his hand first. Also, if you believed he was a prop player, you could have asked the floor to identify him as one. Haven’t played much poker have you? South Point makes bank. They don’t need to scam guests playing low limit poker.

Bilbodoggins: In some rooms, props have to be identified with some sort of badge. They are usually good but not great players. NEVER tricky or overly aggressive.
