Hillary is backing Biden and fundraising for him. Has she grabbed the wheel of the democratic bus? She is lethal and ruthless. If Biden becomes inconvenient or incapacitated (by her hand) she waltzes in?
I really don’t know who is pulling the democratic levers but I’m becoming interested just for the drama.
I agree, nobody knows how this is gonna play out.
Biden will be the nominee unless he either croaks, becomes incapacitated, or cannot string a sentence together (even a garbled one like he does presently).
It's too late for the Dems to bring on another candidate to win on a national stage. That would have happened earlier this year, if it was the plan.
They are ridin' with Biden, and hoping he can beat Trump again like he did in 2020. They are very aware they might lose here, but it's just too late to introduce alternatives. Gavin Newsom is the closest thing they have to a viable candidate, but he's far from a sure thing, and they'd prefer to wait until 2028 with him.
In order of best chances to be elected President in 2024, it goes:
Trump
Biden
Newsom
Haley
DeSantis
Nobody else has a shot.
If Trump dies or is unable to run for any reason, I think Haley wins the nomination, though DeSantis would have a shot at that point, as many of Trump's supporters hate her (though they also hate DeSantis now).

1. great assessment re HRC. hadn't given it much, if any, thought heretofore bc well, it doesn't matter. but i like where your head is at here.
2. there will not be any future riots -- by maga at least -- which was the purpose in their persecution to the point of getting any grandma who walked in and took some selfies while feeling proud about her particiapion in her government while putting the child molester investigations on the back burner. never forget, which was the point.
