    Over 6 years sober.

I remember playing pokerstars all day and on the Neverwin Poker forums. Had great times playing online poker back in the day. Still play some cash games here in New England..grateful to be sober and have a job I enjoy.

Nice job, man! When it comes to sobriety are you still smoking weed or cigarettes or are you full on straight and sober? No mushrooms, nothin'? I play poker in New England too. Its a good scene. I'm going back soon to Encore Boston to play. Quite a story with this place in Everett, no?

Before the pandemic you could see how it was going to be a great poker room and rival foxwood then almost immediately covid hits and the Encore sucks for like 3 years so I never went back. Lately I'm noticing all the action is back and they're filling lots of tables so I'm just waiting for the right time to go.

The worst casino/poker room in New England is Bally's in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Don't go there if you haven't been. You can't use poker atlas to put your name on the list and you can't call ahead. Probably the worst casino I've ever been to.

Agree with Bally's, it's like 20 minutes from my house and I'd rather drive to Mohegan Sun or Encore to play. MGM in Springfield isn't half bad, but it is in Springfield which is a bigger and bigger shit hole each year.

9 years sober. I don't even know that same guy that abused opiates, cocaine and alcohol. Currently married, good job, own a home, a kid and my golf game is in great shape.

    Just felt like sharing this.

Good shit, don't fuck with opiates.

Very glad I never really had easy access to them in my 20's, Vicodin was available but I preferred booze and weed.

Went nearly 16 years but took Oxycodone one night with my wife shortly after son was born and she got a prescription for C-section pain and didn’t need them for pain.

Best feeling of my life and I immediately flushed the remaining 8 the the next day.

you should have held them. you never know. they are nearly impossible to get from a doctor down here anymore.

they are truly magical pills and everyone should experience the euphoria you catch from them.

and with all such pleasurable things, you have to be very careful not to let it control you, which very few in this dystopic world can.

Meh if you get that kind of reaction from one oxycodone you are a confirmed addict. Good thing you flushed.
