Very interesting the only crippling forest fires with massive deaths are in Hawaii and California. Two very deep blue states. I was in Tennessee a couple weeks ago. Man lots of huge forests and more trees than the eye can see. Never hear of death fires there, maybe because that Republican government has their shit together.

I've explained before why I let Marty back on, but I'll explain it again.

I just sat there one day and thought about the fact that I was 51 years old, Marty was 58, and here we were in a 16-year-long internet battle over literally nothing. I reiterate to him that I was done with all the hostility, and he said he was as well. He told me that he appreciated that I took time out of my WSOP schedule to collect the money to buy him in, and I could tell he meant it.

We even talked about his cataracts surgery, and I told him that I have the beginnings of cataracts in my right eye, and I may very well have that exact same surgery in 7 years when I'm his age.
