This dweeb has been cheating for years and nobody does anything but bitch on twitter. Howard Lederer and crew scammed and ruined endless lives. He can still some to play nobody will do a thing. Maybe somebody will cry on a forum.
If you find nicks/crimps on the cards it's a no brainer. When I played live poker I looked for nicks/crimps on cards. It's just to easy for someone to cheat like that. I found quite a few and pointed them out.
So did the cards he marked just disappear? Where are those cards now? Nobody around to inspect cards? WTF? How come no one at the table seen any nicks or crimps?
Pretty sad state of affairs if you can't come up with the cards in question.

This is not the first time such concerns were raised at a high stakes WSOP tournament. In 2015, Valeriu Coca was thought to be marking cards with invisible ink and using special sunglasses to see it, during the WSOP $10k Heads Up Tournament.
However, much like the situation with Kabrhel, nobody called it out as it was occurring. Finally, in between rounds, someone said something, but the "sting" on Coca was done in laughably incompetent fashion, to where lots of WSOP floormen stood around Coca's table, and obviously he didn't cheat at that point. Coca unsurprisingly busted that round.
At the time, I asked, "Why didn't someone get a floorman and demand to have the deck grabbed and examined?", rather than waiting until losing against the guy and complaining the next day on forums/Twitter? I also asked why they surrounded his table with WSOP staff, hoping to catch him, rather than just everyone acting normally and then grabbing the deck mid-match and inspecting it.
Even if Kabrhel was cheating here, he won't be caught. The decks are likely already disposed of, and even if they're not, there is no proof that the markings on these cards came from him. Indeed, I have seen a number of accidentally marked decks over the years at WSOP, both by players unintentionally handling them too roughly, or a shuffle machine scratching them.
In order to catch Kabrhel marking, it would require video of him doing it (which fortunately we have) AND the decks being confiscated and matched with the cards he was suspected of marking.
The WSOP is "investigating" now, but it is highly unlikely anything will come of it, other than perhaps banning him.
By the way, I was told that Coca was paid in 2015, since cheating proof was absent, but was quietly banned going forward.

I also kinda-sorta got the BetMGM bank account thefts into the mainstream media, as it made ESPN, but then it became dwarfed by the immediately subsequent DraftKings hackings, which became a bigger story, even though the BetMGM thing was more sophisticated of a scheme, and involved more perps.

It seems the connection is to Leon. Martin apparently plays at Kings & the WSOP in Vegas…and thats about it. Jack Effell is probably worried that he will wake up with a horse head in his bed if he bans Martin. I think Martin wasn’t cheating but he is putting enormous doubt in the other player’s heads that he may be doing so. This would lead to a huge advantage. Why would he feel like he can push the boundaries to the extreme? I think he feels protected.
I'm surprised no one mentioned the possibility that he might in fact NOT be cheating but acting in such a way so as to cause everyone to think that he is therefore tilting them.

I'm going with he didn't actually cheat but is well aware that he's making it look like he cheats. Obviously it gets into his opponent's heads. Guy might be a genius.
