Both LATB and Hustler spreading the same game tonight 5/5 50BB Ante. Hustler has 1400 viewers and LATB around 300 viewers. Pretty clear Hustler is off to a good start.
Andy got absolutely crushed 2 weeks ago at Hustler and played last Friday at the bike. Garrett played Hustler last Friday. I thought maybe Andy seems a little superstitious and may stay at the Bike for a while, but it looks like Feldman has really pulled this off.
Wayne and JJ from the Bike seem like good dudes. I know Wayne is in a really tough spot right now as the EP for the LATB. He is even playing in the big games to fill a seat, which I’m sure he doesn’t want to be doing. It will be interesting to see what they are able to get going against Hustler Friday night. Not going to be easy to fill up a 50/100 game imho.
I haven’t been watching much of the streams during the week but it seems like Hustler is getting slightly more viewers on average.

Tough night for LATB. Garrett and Andy both played at Hustler. Basically 3 pros busted the whole rest of the table. Bill Klein actually quit hours early after Garrett busted him the second time. Never seen Bill so affected by a hand as I did last night. He got up and said he couldn’t take the pain anymore. Probably the one negative for Hustler is to have all the recs get crushed. Most of them punted really bad tbh. But it will be interesting to see who comes back next Friday.
People in the chat saying RIP LATB. Hustler averaged around 5k viewers while LATB averaged about 1K. Most of the viewers are following Garrett and to a lesser extent Andy. LATB will be fine, but if Garrett plays exclusively at the Hustler on Friday nights than they just won’t be able to compete that night.
What Hustler Live is doing is keeping all their streams up on YouTube with no paywall. LATB has a subscription service that is about $200 a year. They take the streams down right after the play and it goes behind the paywall. I suspect they would piss off the subscribers too much if they left the streams up, even for the time being.
A lot of players have been jumping back and forth from stream to stream. It is pretty fascinating to watch how this unfolds. Hustler clearly has gotten off to a good start. But LATB isn’t going anywhere.
Good news is if you have the buyin and want to play on a LA livestream, your odds of getting in a game just went way up.
wow LATB is running their high stakes game tonight...
50/50/100 with 100 BBA...garrett and andy are playing...
wonder if that means they are ceding fridays to hustler...shocking if that was the case...
I was on the road but just saw the game as it is still up on YouTube. They are saying Andy is playing tomorrow night on LATB. It also vacation time so I don’t think Garrett is playing either tomorrow night. I kind of figured that Garrett/Andy would move back and forth. Those saying RIP LATB were premature for sure. Especially when it comes to the big game, the players will control which stream is doing better.
Tomorrow night Hustler is flying in Mr. Hanson like KK Itichikawa to the Tangiers. Congrats to Bart…that is some VIP treatment for sure.

The saga continues. No Garrett tonight. LATB has unquestionably the better/bigger game tonight. It will be interesting to see the viewership head to head. Hustler does have the better quality and ability to let the players play without a mask. Should be interesting.

The Bike finally responds to the new competition. Live at the Bike sold to Ballys Sports. Was mentioned on the stream last night. Will be a new production, sponsored and advertised, and probably televised at some point too.
**Rumor** The Bike is changing ownership and possibly name too real soon. Might have to do with re-branding of Live At The Bike/Ballys Sports. I'm not sure.
