Yeah, I’m still thinking the future of the conservative movement are yet to be born.

Just want to stay on point and keep ya all properly triggered.

Well im not a millennial at 41, im actually a Gen-X'r. Not that I care, but I am starting to hear more and more that Democrats feel that if the Government say even paid 50k a student it would clear a ton of peoples debt, and they would be able to then spend that money properly on their own lives and therefore be putting it back into our Economy on the whole, even if it is done indirectly.

So the whole idea, beyond the idea everyone should pay what they owe mentality, this has real merit. And I think one way or another we actually may end up with a 1-3 Trillion dollar bill of sorts, the essentially forgives a significant portion of peoples student debt. I think overall it would benefit the Economy, and allow people to use that money elsewhere in their lives, then pay lol juiced fill bank fed student loans. Time will tell, but im a big believer in thinking that we are actually on our way to relieving student debt from peoples backs, and it nothing more 50k a Student at least. It would help people for sure too....
Because the moral hazard.

People need to hear the horror stories of the people who went 100K into the hole for a basket weaving degree. The Government sweeps that away and the universities keep the sticker price at 40K a year and the financiers will loaning out the $$. We need kids to start saying No to basket weaving so that Universities start to cut the cost of those degrees from 40K to 10K. Financiers need to have the risk they took up at low interest blow up on them so they know hading over that type of money for a basket weaving education is a bad financial decision.

This is how the market works. The government jumping in is how the market can’t correct its self.
