Adam Corolla has a place on Malibu Beach and did a tour. Again, he has experience as a construction worker and isn’t a spazz so I find his takes informative

He walks up to the famous concrete form-tie beach house that survived and is frankly the future of LA construction

He talks at the end about how most of the houses on the beach began life in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s when codes were non existent. Adam points out that they all have septic - no town services. They are beyond fucked getting new permitting. He estimates 3-5 million on sewer before you put up the first 2x4.

I wanted to totally miss his shit back in the day but I find him a decent follow now.
